Dramatic swings up and down the Rankings are to be expected during the first two years for any class. Ohio’s 2022 group is no different, as several Stock Risers have vaulted their way up the charts over the last five months!
[#25 → #8] Jacob Conner | 6-7 SF | Alter
Conner’s upside is so obvious — so apparent — that keeping him out of the top 10 would be a sham. At 6-foot-7, he is a slippery ball-handler who makes good decisions reads, handles with pace, crisply changes directions, and can shoot it. As he becomes an even more consistent shooter and adds weight, Conner’s recruitment should pick-up across the midwest.
[#21 → #10] Ramar Pryor | 6-2 SG | St. Vincent-St. Mary
Pryor’s improvements are two-fold: his body and shooting. The GlenOak transfer has simultaneously become more skilled and bulky in a short amount of time. Spaces the floor and knocks down shots with consistency. Meanwhile, his added upper body size is an asset when he attacks the basket — an area he already thrived.
[#36 → #16] Mekhi Elmore | 5-11 PG | Thurgood Marshall
Elmore is able to make extremely difficult shots, all of which will become easier as he grows. He packages that with smart decision-making and vision. Meaning, the lefty is capable of 20 every night but he picks his spots. Sneaky bounce. Quick.
[#50 → #22] Elmore James | 6-0 SG | Brush
A remarkably filled-out and powerful athlete in just the tenth grade, James is now able to focus on packing on skills. He has shown progress as a shooter and ball-handler, although defense and finishing in traffic remain his strengths. Smart cutter.

[#45 → #25] Antwone Woolfork | 6-7 C | Brush
There aren’t many 6-foot-7 sophomores who move like Woolfork. He also has great hands — allowing him to rebound at a high level — and a solid scoring touch inside. Flashes impressive interior passing ability and can protect the rim.
[#56 → #26] Logan Woods | 6-3 PG | Cincinnati Christian
Woods has added height to go with his decision-making and shooting ability. He sees the floor well and is able to take advantage of what the defense gives him as a scorer and passer. As he becomes more consistent in creating the plays, Woods’s stock will rise again.
[#64 → #31] Jagger Landers | 6-6 C | Antwerp
Landers is the early leader in the clubhouse as the top 2022 prospect in rural Northwest Ohio. He’s a nimble low-post scorer that checks a lot of boxes offensively. Effective screener. Great touch inside. Uses his body on post moves. He can run the floor. Landers is an elite rebounder, too.
