Justin Powell Justin Powell 6'6" | SG North Oldham | 2020 State #102 Nation KY , North Oldham – When he was healthy this season, Justin looked like the top 100 player he is. He was flirting with triple doubles every night out and taking his team to another level. His absence has been noticeable the last couple of weeks. If he can get back to full health (or close to it) North Oldham will have a chance to win the 8th region.Powell is signed with Auburn for college.
Dayvion McKnight Dayvion McKnight 6'1" | PG Collins | 2020 State #175 Nation KY , Collins – The state’s best pure point guard, Dayvion is another player who consistently stuffs the stat sheet. One of the most impressive stats McKnight posts is that he’s shooting 60% from the field. There aren’t many more efficient scorers that Dayvion. He’s signed to play for Rick Stansbury at Western Kentucky.
JJ Traynor JJ Traynor 6'8" | PF Bardstown | 2020 State #223 Nation KY , Bardstown – Traynor moves up a spot into the Top 3 in this update. JJ is a long, athletic forward whose best basketball is still ahead of him. The biggest difference in Traynor now and in the past is that he has developed a better motor than he had as a younger player. The 6’9 forward will be take his talents to Louisville at the next level.
Jackson Sivills Jackson Sivills 6'6" | SF McCracken County | 2020 State #217 Nation KY , McCracken County – Sivills is one of the best players in the state, regardless of class. He doesn’t get nearly enough respect across the state for the high level he plays at consistently. He can score the ball at every level, defends multiple positions and is a great leader for his team. He will stay close to home and play his college ball at Murray State.
Kenny White Kenny White 6'7" | SF Madisonville-North Hopkins | 2020 State #357 Nation KY , Madisonville-North Hopkins – The top available Senior in the state, White shows flashes of being a high major recruit. He was a star at the Sweet 16 last season and should get his Madisonville team back there again this season. At 6’7, Kenny is a matchup nightmare for opposing coaches.
Marques Warrick Marques Warrick 6'3" | SG Henry Clay | 2020 State #365 Nation KY , Henry Clay – Warrick may be the smoothest scorer in the state. He gets his points and makes it look effortless at times, especially when he is able to hit the mid range pull-up that has become a deadly shot for him. Ques is headed to Northern Kentucky next season and should be a really good player for Coach Darrin Horn and the Norse.
Alex Matthews Alex Matthews 6'5" | PF John Hardin | 2020 State KY , John Hardin – Alex moves into the top 10 as he is having a terrific Senior season to go along with a career full of winning. Recently adding a couple more D1 offers to his list, Alex is going to be a nice pickup for some school in the Spring signing period as he works hard and can play inside or out.
Marcellus Vail Marcellus Vail 6'3" | SG Collins | 2020 State KY , Collins – Another signee on the list, Marcellus is headed to play for Kentucky native Scott Padgett at Samford. Vail is an explosive scorer known for his ability to make tough shots and score from deep. His shooting splits of 48/39/84 are more impressive when you consider how opponents are focused on he and McKnight every game out.
Howard Fleming Howard Fleming 6'5" | SG Male | 2020 State KY , Male – Howard could be the missing piece to a State title run for the Bulldogs. Fleming has missed his entire Senior season to this point but did commit to Illinois State this fall before he went under the knife for shoulder surgery. Hopefully the 6’5 guard gets back this season.
Ksuan Casey Ksuan Casey 6'9" | C Madisonville-North Hopkins | 2020 State KY , Madisonville-North Hopkins – Possibly the hardest match-up of any Senior, Casey is big and hard to guard, especially without doubling the post or going to a zone. The lefty can score over either shoulder and stretches the floor with shooting. Look for Ksuan to sign at the D1 level in the Spring.
