Both goals are possible.
I have paid close attention to a lot of seniors in the state of Tennessee.
Here are the ones that have played well up to this point of the season:
RJ Berkley, MAHS: Berkley is currently averaging 17 points, six assists and five rebounds for the Lions.
Wes Maples, Sevier County: Maples is currently averaging 17 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Bobby Parks, Harding Academy: Parks is averaging 25 points, eight assists and seven rebounds.
Will Pruitt, Mt. Juliet: Pruitt is averaging 19 points, seven assists and seven rebounds while averaging 24 minutes on the court.
Lucas King, McKenzie: King is averaging 17.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.1 steals per game while shooting 45 percent from 3 and 95 percent from the free throw line.
Decorian Payton, Center Hill: Payton is averaging 18 points, 12 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 1.2 blocks per game for the Mustangs.
Justin Borders, Cordova: Borders is averaging 17 points, 4.2 assists and 2.4 steals for the Wolfpack.
Rodney Mason II, Bartlett: Mason is averaging 11.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals for the Panthers.
Kavion McClain, Whitehaven: McClain is averaging 23 points, six assists and five rebounds for the Tigers.
Ryan Parks, Fayette Academy: Parks is averaging 16.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.1 assists and 0.2 blocks for the Vikings.
Jayden Williams, FACS: Williams is averaging 14.4 points, 11.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks for the Crusaders while shooting 54 percent from the field.
Jalen Bo Montgomery, Lausanne: Montgomery is averaging 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists for the Lynx.
Johnathan DeJurnett, Lausanne: The Evansville commit is averaging 14.8 points and nine rebounds for the Lynx.
Jaylon Sanders, Collierville: Sanders is averaging 16.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals for the Dragons.
Phillip Horton, Fayette Ware: Horton is averaging 14 points, six rebounds, two steals and one block a game for the Wildcats. He has made 60 percent of his 2-point field goals, 37 percent of his 3-point attempts and 80 percent of his free throws.
Jason Coleman, Overton: Coleman is averaging 15 points for the Wolverines.
Here are other seniors (just game stats) with solid performances this season:
Kylan Haywood, Memphis East: Haywood had 21 points and 10 rebounds in the Mustangs’ overtime win over White Station on Jan. 18.
Duane Posey, Memphis East: Posey had 20 points and 11 rebounds against the Spartans. In a win over Bartlett on Dec. 3, the 6-foot-6 forward had 18 points and seven rebounds.
Xavier Joubert, Memphis Central: In the one game against Bolton, Joubert dominated the boards and scored 25 points in the 85-63 win.
Anthony Burks, Hamilton: Burks can catch fire at any given moment. He had 23 points on 7 of 11 shooting in a 99-67 loss at Wooddale on Dec. 19. In a 78-71 home loss to Booker T. Washington, he had 17.
Jacobi Wood, Cleveland: Earlier this season, the Belmont commit had two 50-point games and two other games scoring at least 26 points. One of his best performances came against Cookeville when he dropped 53 points (11 3-pointers) to go along with six assists and six rebounds.
Cameron Matthews, Olive Branch: The Mississippi State commit had 14 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two steals in the ‘Quistors’ 68-62 loss to the Ramsay Rams in the Lighthouse Classic. Matthews went 6 of 12 from the field. He had 17 points in his team’s 58-57 overtime win over Briarcrest in the Ultimate South Showcase.
