Tyrone Moore, 5’11, G, 2020, Ruskin
A scrappy player who knows how to find ways to get to the basket, connect from the floor and get in the head of his opponents. He brings good control to the floor and can slow a game down or speed it up, depending on the game plan. Moore finished the game with 22 points and 5 timely steals against Blue Springs. He shot 58 percent from the floor and was an important leader on the defensive side of the floor.
Kyle Bruce, PG, 2022, Blue Springs, Team Yobo 15U
Bruce forced the double overtime with a slick layup at the buzzer. He is a crafty overall player who has good handles and shake-and-bake rhythm to his game. Bruce looks to protect the all and can find teammates and get them the ball. Bruce finished the game with 15 points and two steals. He hit 5-6 from the free throw line and was a strong defensive player on the perimeter.
Ikenna Ezeogu, PF, 2022, Blue Springs, Team Yobo 15U
Ezeogu is a confident off the ball player who can secure rebounds and finish plays through contact. He has a strong, physical frame and looks to punish defenders with his length and his work ethic and can outlast players due to his conditioning. Ezeogu finished the game with 14 points and two blocks.
Jermaine Booker, G, 2020, Liberty
Booker can handle the ball well and shows good bounce and toughness. He can hit shots from a distance and dribble his way inside and score in the mid-range area. Booker was second in scoring (11 points) for Liberty behind Grant Stubbs and shot 50 percent from inside the perimeter. Booker also has six rebounds and one steal.
Robert Roberson, 6’4, F, 2020, Grandview Christian
Roberson is a good sized interior player who can play strong defense and also score some when he’s locked in and play aggressively and with purpose. He is a solid player overall who looks to make plays where he can with the time he’s given.
