Vachon was a beast on the defensive end throughout the tournament and on championship Saturday he was no different. Vachon spurred on the Panthers with turnovers and big plays on the defensive end. Vachon was not any less prolific from the offensive end. He shot the ball well and was a good spot up shooter. He found his open spots in transition and knocked down his shots. Vachon finished the final day with 17 points.
Blair Scroggins 2020 Pryor Guard
Scroggins was the catalyst for the Tigers on the final day. His team was in a dog fight with Stilwell and he kept knocking down big shots. No matter what the pressure was in the game he seemed to be able to hit the shots. Scroggins finished with 23 points on the final day of the tournament.
Jorge Bautista 2020 Stilwell Post
Bautista was the best big man in the tournament. He was able to show off his ability on both ends of the court. He was athletic and could put a good post move on anyone. He also had a dynamic aspect to his game that allowed him to step out to the perimeter and knock down the shots. While official stats on rebounds were not taken in his game against Pryor, Bautista was dominant on the board finished with at least a double double. He finished the day with 19 points.
Trey Cone 2021 Stilwell Guard
Cone was a clutch shooter. He was able to find his space to get his shots off and good success knocking down his threes. He also came up big late in the game when all the pressure was on. He knocked big shots from the floor and from the free throw line. He finished the day with 21 points.
Conner Calavan 2020 Fort Gibson Guard
Calavan was the best scorer throughout the tournament. He was constantly keyed on by his opponents and he could not be stopped. He was able to find his offense through different avenues in every way to help his team to victory. He would go down in the post and muscle up tough shots through contact or step out to the perimeter and knock down deep threes. He finished championship Saturday with a day high of 25 points.
