Takeaways
Perfect Gameplan
Siloam came out with the perfect gameplan. They knew that Pryor wanted to run and gun and try to score fast but Siloam slowed the pace of the game. They also knew that Pryor was a dribble drive and kick kind of offense and they played defense to near perfection as they were sliding over and attempting to clog the lane and take charges. The gameplan was effective throughout the game and the athletes executed it perfectly.
Defense Wins Championships
Coaches often say that defense wins championships and if Siloam Springs ends up winning this tournament it will because of the defense they have played. They have play fast, hand in your face type defense for all thirty two minutes a game. They have came out and played what are probably more talented teams and beat them because of their work ethic on the defensive end of the ball.
