The 2021 PrepHoops Texas Rankings Preview

We are a few games into the high school basketball season for the state of Texas, so our staff felt that it was a great time to drop the early season player rankings. Today we’re focusing on the class of 2021. Here are some of the familiar and unfamiliar faces to expect to see in this ranking:

Harrison Ingram Remains At The Top

There were a lot of candidates for the number one spot in the 2021 class for the state of Texas, but there was none more deserving than do it all wing Harrison Ingram of St. Marks High School. Ingram has been playing very well this season and has used his polished skillset and leadership abilities to impact the game in a multitude of ways.

Stock Risers

We have a lot of 2021 prospects that have played well so far this season. Here are some of the stock risers who have jumped the most from our last rankings.

Ramon Walker | SF | Shadow Creek | 2021

Walker has a great body and ideal size for position to compliment his ability to score all three levels. He moved up +39 spots in this rankings update.

Jalen Lake | SG | Waxahachie | 2020

The smooth shooter has moved up +29 spots from the last 2021 rankings.

Tay Mosher | SF/PF | Colony | 2020

Mosher is a mismatch nightmare because of his size, skill and ability to face up and shoot over smaller defenders. Mosher moved up +23 spots in this rankings update.

Damon Nicholas | SF | Duncanville | 2021

Nicholas is a two-way forward who is a violent slasher and a good on ball defender who isn’t scared of anyone on the court. Nicholas has moved +18 in this rankings update.
