Fairmont would get out to an early lead and would hold on to that lead into halftime. St Pauls would make a run of their own and cut the lead down to 4 in the 3rd but Fairmont would respond and take home the win.
St Pauls 2020 Guard Emonta Smith: Provided a nice spark of offense for his team when they needed to make a run. He has a quick first step as well as the ability to knock down the outside shot.
Fairmont HS 2021 Forward Cedrique Smith: Did a great job of rebounding the ball early on both ends of the floor. He does a nice job of finding a body to box out and finding a guard to throw the outlet pass to. Stat wise he was the leader on his team with 18 Points & 8 Rebounds on the night.
St Pauls 2020 Forward Anthony Campbell: Brings energy and effort inside the paint battling with bigs. Although he doesn’t have the most height, he’s strong and makes up for any height differential.
Fairmont HS Senior Guard Shykeem Smith: Quick Guard with high energy that made plays as soon as he checked in the game. Has nice end to end speed, the ability to complete tough shots helped his team on offense. His quick hands helped his team of defense to come up with steals and deflections.
St. Pauls HS 2021 Forward William Ford: We really liked the spark he provided for his team, he uses his athletic ability to make plays on both ends of the floor. Throwing down monster dunks offensively and blocking shots above the rim on the defensive end.
Fairmont HS 2021 Guard Jahkeem Moore: Does a nice job of scoring and rebounding from the guard spot. Knocked down some shots from midrange and deep as well as helping to cause some turnovers on the defensive end.
St Pauls HS 2020 Guard Caleb Henderson: Although the team got off to a slower start overall, he came in and made plays early on. He constantly attacked the paint and drew fouls or scored but also did a nice job of defending his opponent without fouling.
