Recruiting Report: Jarod Robinson (2020)

Jarod Robinson is enjoying a strong start to his senior season. The 6-foot-3 wing got it done on both ends of the court for Glenelg Country in their season-opening win on the road at Bishop O’Connell. Robinson scored 16 points but also defended well.
“I think the biggest part of my game is my defense,” Robinson told Prep Hoops. “I think that’s the best part of what I do.”
While Robinson certainly makes his impact felt on the defensive end, his offensive game is coming along nicely. A capable spot-up shooter when his feet are set, the unsigned senior can get to the in-between areas where he can hit pull-up jumpers off one or two dribbles.
“I like Malcolm Brogdon,” he replied when asked if there’s anyone he models his game after. “I watch a lot of his games and try to play like him.”
Stevenson, Shepherd, Utica (NY), and St. Mary’s (MD) are the schools currently involved in Robinson’s recruitment. We expect that list to grow as the season progresses.
What are his goals?
“This year its win or go home. We have 4 seniors who all play a lot so there are no excuses. My personal goals are trying to defend as well as I can, continue improving my three-point percentage, and try to help my team get to where we want to go.”
