1. Trinity Bell, 6’7 PF, Albertaville: A big and physical presence on the inside with really good touch around the basket. An aggressive rebounder with the ability to gobble up rebounds in and out of his rebounding area. He is having a really good showing so far the Huntsville Classic in Huntsville, Alabama even though his squad has dropped two games so far. He needs to continue to improve on his passing out of double teams and free throw shooting with him being so physical inside.
2. Bryson Hall, 6’7 PF, Tuscaloosa County: His has a babyface, but he is ferocious on the inside. He has a very uniques skill-set with very soft hands around the basket. He is able to score with his back to the basket or in face-up situations. He is very long for a guy his size which allows him to score over taller defenders. His footwork is probably the best in the class and has a variety of go-to moves in the post. He is deceptively quick from the 12-15 ft range with the ability to beat his defender off the dribble or knock down open shots from that range.
3. PJ Eason, 6’9 PF/C, Dadeville: A terror running the open floor with very good hands and ability to finish in transition. He is the definition of a rim protector challenging everything at the rim and is especially special in weakside help situations. He has the unique ability to finish everything around the rim and tries to dunk EVERYTHING! He is great in pick-and-roll situations and is a lob magnet. The great thing about this good-looking prospect is that he knows his role and plays it very well.
4. Landon Williams, PF/C, Alexandria: He is the prototypical new-age big man with the ability to stretch the floor and make outside shots. He has a well-polished all-around game as he can rebound at a very high level, put the ball on the floor and beat defenders off the dribble, and score with his back to the basket. He needs to continue to improve his vision and decision making with him playing so much on the perimeter. Look for his stock to continue to rise and we get closer to travel ball season.
5. Kendan Maddox, 6’7 PF, Pelham: This raw but talented prospect is only scratching the surface of the type of player he can develop into. He has soft hands and improving footwork around the basket. He is a relentless rim runner with the ability to catch and finish in transition. He has a consistent range out to 15ft and will only improve on that range with continuous work in the gym. He is a monster on the glass on both ends of the floor and eats up space with his big wide body. Look for him to continue to improve as he logs more and more minutes on the floor.
