The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD held its annual event called the CyHoops Invitational. The title game takes place between two state-ranked schools according to the TABC in #7 Dickinson Gators a UIL 6A affiliate vs #1 Lancaster Tigers a UIL 5A affiliate. Here is my synopsis of the game and the prospects who stood out.

The Dickinson Gators jumped out early in this game anchored by the University of Houston signee Tramon MarkTramonMark6'5" | SGDickinson | 2020State#76NationTX who was cooking with the good grease all tournament long. He was giving the Tigers fits to start the game and they didn’t have an answer for him. The dynamic duo of Lancaster was able to score the ball as well and cause issues for the Gators in the 2nd quarter of the game. The second half of the game was well balanced between the two as they traded buckets. Dickinson had the lead for the majority of the 4th quarter but the Tigers fought hard and found themselves pushing the game into overtime. In OT the Tigers of Lancaster just proved to be a little too much for the Gators and were crowned back to back champions of the CyHoops Invitational.
