Prospect Spotlight: Ike Salisu (2020)
Ike Salisu, a class of 2020 forward from Bowie High School, has been a dominant inside presence for Coach Tremaine Price this season. We saw Salisu excel earlier this season at the DMVelite Nova Tip-Off, where he played much bigger than his 6-foot-3 frame and bossed the paint in his team’s win over Osbourn Park. The unsigned senior forward discussed his overall game and goals during a recent interview with Prep Hoops.
PH: For those who haven’t seen you play, how would you describe your game?
IS: “I’d say my game is based on my athleticism and being able to finish at the basket.”
PH: What is your role for this team?
IS: “Getting rebounds, being able to finish around the paint and being able to support my guys.”
PH: What is the most underrated part of your overall game?

PH: What part of your game are you currently working on?
IS: “Right now, I’m working on my dribbling and my three-point shot.”
PH: What are your goals?

PH: What do you think you can bring to a college program?
IS: “I think I’ll be able to finish at the basket, protect the paint, and be a good player on and off the court.”
