Some are playing at the highest level and some still have room to improve. Utah has a great tradition of quality point guards and we are seeing that once again.
6’3 PG Dallin Hall of Fremont High School
Dallin is arguably the best unsigned point guard in the state. He is a Division 1 player that has not committed to any local schools which leaves the door open for an out of state program to come in and pick him off. He’s averaging 20 plus points per game. He is deadly in the open court but is just as crafty in traffic.
6’2 PG Tanner Koefed of Layton High School
Averaging 18 points per game while helping Layton remain undefeated Tanner is a solid floor general as he shares the ball and can score from all three levels.
5’10 PG Coleman Ford of Timpview High School
Coleman is putting up great numbers for a true point guard. His stat line is 11, 3, 2 and 2. He is one of the smartest high IQ players we’ve seen this year. He makes up for his stature in many ways that you often don’t notice that he is under 6’0.
6’2 PG Gabe Soto of Juan Diego School
Gabe is a solid player that often gets the assignment of guarding the other teams best player. He holds his own and is productive on the floor with his passing ability and inside outside game.
6’0 Mark Huber of Bear River High School
Mark has been impressive again as he is scoring 24 points per game and hauling in 7 rebounds. The kid can flat out play and score. He will be a nice player at the next level.
