The starting lineup may appear ‘small’ but I’d trust in their athleticism and playmaking abilities. Plus, there will be talented size coming off the bench.
Starters
G: Jaden Akins (PG, Farmington)
Akins and Roper would be such a dynamic backcourt. Akins is versatile and plays without mental mistakes.
G: Julian Roper (PG, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)
Roper is athletic and smooth. He can get out and run the floor, helping this team get in transition.
G: Kobe Bufkin (CG, Grand Rapids Christian)
Bufkin is a top 100 talent nationally. His lefty jumper is a work of art.
G/F: Pierre Brooks Jr. (G/F, Detroit Frederick Douglass)
Brooks is one of the highest IQ players in the midwest. He’s a well rounded talent that will figure out what the team needs and deliver it.
F: Legend Geeter (F, River Rouge)
Geeter is so valuable to any team. He can play effectively at basically any position on the floor.
Bench
Ty Fortney (PF, Taylor Trillium)
Fortney is the powerful post finisher that this team needs. He can change the momentum of the game in seconds.
Julian Lewis (G/F, Ann Arbor Huron)
Lewis is a defensive stopper on the wing and the perimeter. He’s an aggressive rebounder and gets hustle buckets.
Peter Nwoke (F/C, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)
Nwoke would be a valuable big on the team. He’s long and can protect the rim.
Simon Wheeler (PG, Ypsilanti-Lincoln)
Who wouldn’t want a showtime guard on their “Dream Team”. Wheeler is simply one of the best passers in the state.
Foster Wonders (SF, Iron Mountain)
Wonders would be a beast for a 6th man. He’s a powerful wing, strong rebounder, and a threat to score from the perimeter to the paint.
