He had a productive year for a team that has had some talented players come through in the past few years. Starting as a sophomore at Juan Diego isn’t the easiest to do.
Juan Diego currently has some PG’s playing at the next level. Ignacio Arroyo went to play professionally after his sophomore year in high school. He currently plays for Movistar Estudiantes, Spain. Matt Kitzman suits up as a true sophomore for Westminster, Utah. JD Ahlstrom plays at George Fox University. Gabe Collosimo plays at Seattle Pacific University.
Talon has been in the program since he was in elementary school and made his way onto the varsity team as a freshman. Talon is in line to be another next level PG to come out of Juan Diego.
With one game in the books Talon was able to put up 24 points against a solid Salem Hills team. The speedy point guard was able to get into the lanes and finish near the rim often. he was also able to get his teammates involved as well. You can see the work he has put into his game.
“I’ve really put a lot of work into my jump shooting. From mid-range to my three-point game.”
Talon is fast off the dribble with both hands. He shoots a high percentage from the field. With an improving jump shot and as he continues to improve on defense raking up steals. He is becoming a great college prospect.
