The annual National Hoops Festival was back at DeMatha this year and once again there was no shortage of talent in the gym. Below I take a look at five takeaways from the out of town teams that travelled to D.C.

Tre White Is Already College Ready

On Friday right before National Hoops Festival started, the 2022 guard prospect de-committed from Kansas after committing to them earlier in the summer. White already has a college ready body which is impressive for only being a sophomore. With his versatility and size, his coach can also play him at other positions which we might see at the next level.

First Love Features A Pair Of Atlantic 10 Guards

First Love features two players that are committed to Atlantic 10 programs. 2020 Isaiah Wilson is committed to Richmond while 2020 Jett Roesing is committed to Duquesne

Wilson is an active guard that gets up and down the floor well at the lead guard position. I liked how he attacked with the ball in his hands and looked to always be on a mission while going downhill. 

Duquesne is currently off to a great start this
