Tre White Is Already College Ready
On Friday right before National Hoops Festival started, the 2022 guard prospect de-committed from Kansas after committing to them earlier in the summer. White already has a college ready body which is impressive for only being a sophomore. With his versatility and size, his coach can also play him at other positions which we might see at the next level.
First Love Features A Pair Of Atlantic 10 Guards
First Love features two players that are committed to Atlantic 10 programs. 2020 Isaiah Wilson is committed to Richmond while 2020 Jett Roesing is committed to Duquesne.
Wilson is an active guard that gets up and down the floor well at the lead guard position. I liked how he attacked with the ball in his hands and looked to always be on a mission while going downhill.
Duquesne is currently off to a great start this year as they sit with an undefeated record of 8-0 and on the recruiting trail they look to have gotten a college ready shooter in Jett Roesing. In my viewing on Saturday Roesing hit seven three pointers and was at the top of the list when it comes to best shooters of the entire event.
DJ Gordon Is Ready For The Big Ten
Pat Chambers and Penn State look to be an NCAA tournament team this year and part of that is due to the recent recruiting success they have had. They look to have found another player that can help them in the future years in DJ Gordon.
Jerrell Colbert Was One Of The Best Long Term Prospects Present
One of the best long term prospects from this weekend was 2021 Jerrell Colbert. Colbert is currently 6’10 with a good frame and long arms. Colbert is currently ranked fifth in the state of Texas and has tremendous upside. In my viewing the talented junior finished with 16 points and 7 rebounds.
Sunrise Christian Makes Statement In DC
Sunrise who has been of the best high programs in the past few years came up to DC and made a major statement by beating two of the best teams in the DMV. On Saturday they beat Gonzaga 61-55 and they followed that up on Sunday with a victory against DeMatha, 75-67. A pair of juniors in Kendall Brown Kendall Brown 6'8" | SF Sunrise Christian | 2021 #9 Nation KS and Dillion Jones really stood out for Sunrise. Look for Sunrise to continue to be one of the top eight teams in the country this year and a serious threat to win Geico Nationals.
