Here are some teams that put together quality weeks last week:
Jamestown
The Bluejays continued their roll this week, beating Bismarck Legacy without Boden Skunberg. Carson Lamp led the way with 16 points, Shea Carroll added 13 points and eight rebounds and Shea Carroll chipped in 15. The Bluejays ended the week with barnburner win over Turtle Mountain Friday, after Turtle Mountain had beaten Bismarck Century earlier in the week. The Bluejays are the No. 1 team in Class A with those juniors continuing to impress and will take on Minot in a huge WDA tilt after Christmas.
West Fargo Sheyenne
The Mustangs are off to a terrific start this season and added another quality win to their season resume, beating West Fargo 65-45 Saturday. Blake Berg led the way with 24 points and 11 rebounds while Tyler Terhark added 11 points and 12 rebounds. Sheyenne blew out Valley City earlier in the week and is 5-0 on the year. The Mustangs are better than expected and now have wins over three ranked teams.
Minot
The Magicians picked up two wins last week to improve to 4-1 on the season. Minot beat Bismarck St. Mary’s in thorough fashion Tuesday before ending the week with an excellent win over Bismarck Legacy Friday. Next up for Minot is undefeated No. 1 Jamestown the Saturday after Christmas.
