Continue ReadingWe are now a full month into the season. Here’s a look at the 4A top 10 rankings for week #4.
1. Bishop Gorman: 11-2 Last Week 3-1 – The Champs are running on fumes. They suffered a tough loss against a talented Eastside Catholic team up in Oregon. However, they rebounded by winning two straight at the event to finish the week with a 3-1 mark.
2. Coronado: 6-4 – Last Week 2-1 – Coronado defeated Socastee and Whitney Young at the Beach Ball Classic.
3. Liberty: 6-5 – Last Week 1-2 – The Patriots suffered defeats to Winward and Fairfax at the Damien Classic in So Cal. They rebounded with a win over Damien in the consolation bracket.
4. Durango: 7-4– Last Week 1-2 – The Trailblazers went winless on their trip to Tennessee. They did, however, get a victory out in Arkansas over Trezevant.
5. Desert Pines: 5-5 – Last Week 0-3 – Tough week for the Jaguars as they went 0-3 out at the Torrey Pines Holiday Classic.
6. Silverado: 9-2– Last Week 0-0 – Silverado was off this week. Their next game is January 4th against Mira Mesa as part of the CA – LV Showcase.
7. Reed 8-1 – Last Week 0-0 – Reed was off last week. Their next game is January 2nd against Minico.
8. Spanish Springs: 10-4 Last Week 2-2 – The Cougars split 4 games in San Diego at the Torrey Pines Classic.
9. Foothill: 10 – 5 Last Week 3-1 – Foothill picked up 3 wins at the Las Vegas Prep Championships including a victory over conference rival Basic.
10. Basic: 10-5 Last Week 2-2 – Basic has proven to be formidable this season. They went 2 and 2 on the week with their losses coming against Trinity International and UCLA commit Dashien Nix, and #9 Foothill.
