ALEX CADET | 6’5 W | TAKOMA ACADEMY ’22
Coach Credle spoke highly of Cadet before the game and it didn’t take long to see why. He has an intriguing blend of size and skill. Cadet proved that he can make shots from behind the arc or get to his spots in the in-between areas off one or two dribbles. He is a strong presence in the paint who is disruptive defensively as a result of his length. Cadet should only improve as his frame fills out.
MIKE GRAY | 5’11 G | LANDON ’22
Gray played with high energy on both ends and thrived as a result. He was active defensively, did his due diligence on the boards and was not afraid to step up and take a charge. On the offensive end, Gray shot it well from behind the arc and looked to get downhill aggressively.
TUDOR LUNGU | 6’1 G | PALLOTTI ’20
Lungu shot it better than anyone we saw on Tuesday. The 6-foot-1 guard moves well without the ball and proved that he can consistently knock down shots if he gets his feet set.
CHARLES MCCLAIN | 5’9 G | KIPP ’21
One thing that stood out about McClain was how well he communicated with his team. From opening tip through the final whistle, he was the loudest player on the court and played with a tremendous amount of energy.
DAVID NWANKWO | 6’4 F | TAKOMA ACADEMY ’20
Nwankwo went to work for a shorthanded Takoma Academy squad missing two of their key players. The unsigned senior was efficient with the ball, got to the basket at will and demonstrated a high motor.
BRYCE WALKER | 6’2 G | PALLOTTI ’20
Walker rebounded from a slow start in the first half and played with high intensity in the third quarter. The athletic guard made his presence felt defensively and on the boards while showing that he can make shots.
DEVON WILLIAMS | 5’11 G | PALLOTTI ’23
Williams did not score bout found other ways to impact the game. He ran the offense without turning it over and played solid defense on the ball while being active in help situations.
