Lorne Bowman II 6’2, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s
Bowman had another strong performance leading the pack with 25 points to lift St Mary’s over the top tier Clarkston squad in their first matchup of the season. Bowman started the game hot and kept it going the entire game leading a 15 point comeback victory to defeat Clarkston at home.
Julian Roper Jr 6’4, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s
Roper finished the game with 14 points in the Friday night victory. Roper might be the most athletic guard in the 2021 class he uses his speed and athleticism to guide St. Mary’s defense Roper finished with a handful of steals playing the passing lanes and finishing with mind-blowing dunks.
Matt Nicholson 7’1, Clarkston
Nicholson is a very athletic big who can step out and knock down the mid-range on a consistent basis. The 7’1 big man finished with 20 points and 7 blocks in the Friday night contest. The Northwestern commit is extremely versatile for his size and uses that to his advantage to guide Clarkston’s defense every night.
Fletcher Loyer 5’11, Clarkston
Loyer had a strong showing Friday night finishing the game with 17 points. the 5’11 guard can shoot lights out on any night and that’s what he showed in the Friday night matchup. Loyer pushed Clarkston to an early 20-8 lead over St. Mary’s with his shooting from the tip-off and remained that way the entire game with his lights out shooting.
