The day 1 action did not disappoint as several standouts stole the show. In this article, PH takes a look at some of the top shooters on the day.
Riley Fornerette 6’0 PG Dysart 2021 (#77 PHA 2021) – Fornerette showed the ability to get his shot off in a variety of ways. It was his range, along with his ability to shoot it both off the bounce and in catch and shoot action.
Austin Talimalie 6’0 PG Chaparral 2020 – The senior sharpshooter was lethal in catch and shoot action. He buried 4 3’s on the day helping Chaparral to a 1st round victory.
Trevor Farrow 6’1 PG Canyon View 2020 – Farrow has a strap. Perfect form and a textbook release. Farrow does a great job of getting his feet set early allowing for a quick release. He has the ability to create space and raise up off the bounce. Great footwork on his stepback jumper.
Coleman Lemke 6’7 SF Faith Lutheran 2021 (#24 2021) – Lemke got hot late in Faith’s victory. He has a smooth stroke, and was terrific in catch and shoot action. His 3 second half 3’s propelled the Crusaders to victory.
Tyler Pacheco 5’11 PG Clovis East 2020 – Pacheco showed a consistently quick release. He scored 18 in Clovis East’s first-round win. 12 of them coming from behind the 3 point line.
