Smoky Hill (7-1) vs Valor Christian (3-4)
Amondo Miller (2021 G) and Rocky Beers (2020 G) are going to have their work cut out for them as Valor attempts to defend their home court on Saturday. Miller is averaging 12.9 points and 5 rebounds a game while Beers is securing 8.3 rebounds and 5.9 points a game.
Smoky Hill’s Jalen Weaver (2021 G) is a living cheat code. Weaver’s 19 point and 5.3 rebound average is a small description of his elite talent. Quinten Rock (2020 G) is a fast-moving scorer who is averaging 15.7 points and 5 assists a game. Watching the Buffaloes on the court is like watching an action movie, better not blink.
Cherokee Trail (2-6) vs ThunderRidge (2-6)
The Cherokee Trail will be looking to Tre Titus (2020 F) and the Cougars to get out of their slump in this game. Titus is averaging 18.4 points and 4.8 rebounds a game.
Nolan Marold (2021 F) and the ThunderRidge Grizzlies will also be looking to get back on track in this game. Marold put up 14.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in the first four games on the season.
Denver South (2-7) vs Heritage (4-2)
Deshon Carter (2020 G) and Turbel Zaki (2020 C) will have another tough contest on Saturday. Over their first five games, Carter and Zaki accumulated for 167 points and 29 rebounds for Denver South.
Heritage’s Will McClurg (2020 G/F) has an average of 10 points and 5.4 rebounds a game while Erik Olsen (2021 F) has recorded 11 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
Colorado Springs Christian (3-2) vs Pagosa Springs (4-2)
Caleb Stockton (2021 G) is averaging 19.8 points and 6.8 assists per game, recording one double-double on the season so far. Teammate Josh Erickson (2020 F) has four double-doubles over five games so far, averaging 12 points and 11.6 rebounds a game.
The Pagosa Springs Pirates will be relying on Mason Snarr (2020 C) and Mitch Lewis (2021 G) to stop the Lions. Lewis has 10.8 points and 5.8 rebounds on the season while Snarr is averaging 13.2 points and 8.7 rebounds. This should be an evenly matched competition.
Windsor (3-2) vs Skyline (5-1)
The Windsor Wizards will expect Ben Hageman (2021 G) and Lance McGinnis (2020 G) to lead the charge against Skyline on Saturday. McGinnis is averaging 13.6 points and 5 rebounds a game while Hageman is putting up 17.8 points and 7 rebounds a game.
Austin Robinson (2020 F) and Adrian Compain (2021 G) will be expecting to improve the Falcons record in the game. Compain has 12 points and 3 rebounds per game so far. Robinson is averaging 14.5 points and 5.3 rebounds a game.
Fort Morgan (4-2) vs Erie (5-2)
Fernando Marquez (2022 G) and Nick Norris (2020 F) will be stepping on the court with the intention of getting their fifth win on the season. Marquez is leading his team in scoring, averaging 17.8 points a game with a 4.2 rebound average. Norris has 15.3 points and ll.7 rebounds a game, recording four double-doubles so far.
Erie’s Kevin Loy (2021 F) will be bringing his 13.4 points and 3.9 rebound average into this game. Teammate Ladorian Havard (2020 F) has been averaging 10.7 points and 4.1 rebounds. Will the Tigers arsenal have enough firepower to out-match the Fort Morgan Mustangs?
