Windsor (3-2) vs Pueblo West (6-2)
Windsor will be looking to improve their record against a tough Pueblo West team. Windsor’s Ben Hageman (2021 F) is putting up 17.8 points, 7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game, while Lance McGinnis (2020 G) is averaging 13.6 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.
Pueblo West’s Taylor Harris (2020 G) is leading the team with 136 points and 57 rebounds this season so far. Add Jimmy Wardle’s (2020 G) 114 points, 29 rebounds, and 17 steals to the mix and we end up with an exciting matchup.
Antonito (2-3) vs South Park (3-3)
The South Park Burros are going to have their hands full with Antonito’s Josh Duran (2021) who has four double-doubles on the season. With 130 total points, 59 rebounds, and 32 steals, Josh is averaging 26 points and 11.8 rebounds, and 6.4 steals per game.
South Park’s Elias Esparanza (2021 G) and Michael Kelly (2020) have combined for 108 points, 90 rebounds, and 19 steals so far this season.
Eaton (6-1) vs Pagosa Springs (4-2)
Eaton will face off against the Pagosa Springs Pirates in the Wolf Creek Tournament Friday evening. Eaton’s Bryce Leafgren (2020) is averaging 12.9 points, 3.9 steals, and shooting 81% from the free-throw line. Ryan Ure (2021) is averaging 11.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game.
The Pirates will be leaning on Mason Snarr (2020 C) who is averaging 13.2 points, 8 rebounds, and 3.2 steals per game, along with Ryan Lewis (2020) who is averaging 8.7 points and 7.3 rebounds a game.
Cherry Creek (6-2) vs Chaparral (4-4)
In this conference matchup, expect to see Cherry Creek’s Julian Hammond III (2021 G) and Myles Purchase (2021 G) come out strong against Chaparral’s Kobe Sanders (2020 G) and Jeremiah Coleman (2022 G).
Hammond III is averaging 20.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.2 steals a game while also shooting 92% from the free-throw line. Purchase is putting up 10.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3 steals per game.
On Chaparral’s side, Sanders is averaging 17 points and 4.5 assists a game while Coleman has recorded and average of 11.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists a game.
Mountain Vista (5-2) vs Eaglecrest (7-1)
Mountain Vista’s Reece Kelly (2020 G) has 146 points and 64 rebounds on the season, putting his average at 20.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. Ben Bowen (2021 F) is averaging 15.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game while shooting 86% from the free-throw line.
Eaglecrest’s Zion Ruckard (2020 G) has put up 142 points, 44 assists, and 34 rebounds so far this season, bringing his average to 17.8 points, 5.5 assists, and 4.3 rebounds. Skylar Wilson (2020 F) has averaged 14.3 points and 3.8 rebounds so far this season.
Fairview (6-3) vs Chatfield (4-6)
Greysen Carter (2021 G) and Jalen Page (2020 F) have been vital to Fairview’s team. Carter has 157 points and 68 rebounds this season bringing his average to 17.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per game while making 83% of his free-throws. Page is averaging 12.2 points and 3.9 rebounds a game with 20 assists and 21 deflections on the season.
Chatfield’s Dylan Carter (2021 G) has recorded 122 points and 27 rebounds this season, Nate Jacobson (2021 G) has put up 110 points and snagged 28 rebounds so far.
