Mansfield Summit center Yomi Obafemi lives under the rim for 20 plus minutes. With 6-8 size and athleticism, Obafemi found it easy to score against similar size. He’s even improved his motor that seemed to falter during the preseason.
Channon Hall of the Jaguars supplier a scoring spark all game long. His stroke whether from midrange and from the three connected whenever it was needed. The combo guard also shows off the handles need to be a successful self creator. On the defensive end, he’s pesky with active hands.
Alerick Hall rounded out Summit’s backcourt giving them a speedy floor general. Hall turned the boosters on several times when coming around corners exploding to the rim. He finishes at a high rate showing off the touch on his floater and strength at the rim.
For John Paul II Jaylon Tyson continues his tear of good play. He stayed aggressive, looking to draw fouls on every take to the basket. Tyson’s jumper looked good from all ranges. His size allowed him to be a versatile defender.

If not for foul trouble Nate Dominick may have posted a gaudy stat line. Down the stretch, he became the ultimate glue guy grabbing timely rebounds and taking a big charge in the fourth. He has a strong build for the game but most importantly he has the intangibles
Jajuan Tot is John Paul’s fearless leader on the floor. The quick guard made plays at all levels giving all of his teammates great scoring looks. He excels on the defensive end thanks to his lateral quickness. He jammed lead ball handlers at the point of attack thanks to his upper body strength.
