Many of the top teams on the West Coast were invited plus some out of area top-tier teams.
Here were some nice sleepers from the event:
Shemar Morrow SF 6’4 2020 Shadow Mountain
-Athletic downhill wing forward plays with a great build and physicality. A multiple position defender who rebounds like a madman. He handles the ball well and is a good passer in traffic. Not known for the shooter but had 4 3’s vs Regis Jesuit.
Tyrelle Hunt PF 6’5 2020 Coronado (NV)
–Undersized power forward who has an elite motor. He has good hands and a nice touch from elbow and in. He is very strong, smart and tough as anyone. He loves contact and will rebound in the crowd regardless of who he is playing versus.
Robby Devries CG 6’4 2020 Millennium
-A taller lead guard can really shoot it. He has good size to post up defenders and is a smart play-maker. He moves his feet good enough to not be an issue on defense and just plays a cerebral type of floor game.
Luke Grawer PG 6’2 2020 Pinnacle (Pictured)
-Moved in from Arkansas and has taken the reigns of the offense. Can make tough shots. Good handle and likes pulling up off the dribble plus is sneaky athletic. Good sized guard who can shoot it and has a high IQ for the game.
Tampa Scott PG 5’9 2021 Gilbert
-Quick and tough guard who is not afraid of the big moment. His jump shot keeps improving. He can now comfortably hit shots from the 3pt line and from mid-range. He is quick defensively and gets low to the ground making it difficult to steal the ball away from him. Made some big time plays down the stretch and in OT to beat Sunnyslope.
