Many of the top teams on the West Coast were invited plus some out of area top-tier teams.
Here were some of the senior standouts from the West Coast, which included some top-10 players in the class:
Evan Mobley PF 6’11 Rancho Christian (CA)
-Easily one of the top players in the country. He is ranked #1 on most services and shows it every game he plays. He is a fluid athlete that handles the ball and can make plays for others like an almost 7-foot point forward. He has unreal agility and ridiculous length at around a 7’6 wingspan to catch bad passes in traffic. When the defense collapses often, he has the ability to make plays. He has a polished jump hook shot and has taken his jumper out to the perimeter. He rebounds out of his area with his length and athleticism. His body control in the air for his size is something you only see from Pros. He will be at USC next year with his older brother.

Jalen Green SG 6’4 Prolific Prep (CA)
–Rises higher than anyone on his jumpers. Big time performance vs Hillcrest with 33 points. Like the Grind Session showed, he makes some of the most difficult shots in the business. His body control is unreal and glides with long strides in the air it seems forever. Makes players around him better and has a chance like Mobley to be 1-and-done. Green is arguably the best player in the country unsigned.
Brandon “BJ” Boston SG 6’6 Sierra Canyon (CA)
-Boston has a special blend of athleticism and skill. Makes the game look easy from the perimeter. Shoots it with deep NBA range and can pull-up off the dribble from mid-range. He is a great passer and has legit size, skill and length for the league. The Kentucky commit is a clear Top-10 player in the class and is another who has a chance to be a 1-and-done.
Devin Askew PG 6’3 Mater Dei (CA)
-Scoring guard can hit shots from anywhere on the court. Very athletic as he threw down near big man Dylan Anderson. He is very strong and has a tighter handle to get his way into the lane and score a variety of ways. His ability to hit shots at the end of the day is the reason he will be going to Kentucky but he also sees the court really well and makes his teammates better.

Dallen Terry PG 6’6 Hillcrest Prep (AZ)
-He is a bigger guard who is really good at changing directions and speeds well using length and long strides. He smartly knows how to create fouls and really defends his position with his immense wingspan. He has an elite motor and covers multiple positions and his pull-up has vastly improved from a year ago. The Arizona commit will play the 1-3 next year for the Wildcats.
Julian Strawther SG 6’7 Liberty (NV)
-The do-it-all guard can score it from all 3-levels. He has great length with good athleticism and a tighter handle. He can make plays for others and makes difficult shots from mid to the 3pt line. He rebounds well and will go coast to coast. He takes contact well in the lane using his strength with long strides. He scored a weekend high 51 points in fine fashion. He will be headed to Gonzaga next year.

Donovan “Puff” Johnson SF 6’7 Hillcrest Prep (AZ)
-A long shooting forward who can shoot the 3 effortlessly. The North Carolina commit uses his length well to rebound and plays a smart game. He comes off screens and fires away. You will never see him take a bad shot and knows the game inside and out. His brother Cameron Johnson is a member of the Phoenix Suns.
