Lincoln Hale drops 29
Tonight saw junior prospect Lincoln Hale go off and drop 29 points in win against Clay City. If you read my Tuesday Daily Dive or have kept up Indiana high school hoops, you would have seen that Linton just became #1 in 2A. Tonight they showed that they for sure deserve that honor with the dominant win they had. Hale is a fantastic prospect and is a true scorer with his ability to drive and shoot outside. His teammates had an excellent night too with Kip Fougerousse adding 19 and freshman stud Joey Hart with 14.
Bloomington South dominating
The Panthers just finished up with their third win of the season and third time that they have beaten a team by more than 25+ points with a win over Bedford tonight, 62-30. It is not like they are beating chump teams either. They have beaten Edgewood, New Albany, and now Bedford, all three teams that can be threats at any time. The starting lineup of Anthony Leal, Noah Jager, James Bomba, Connor Hickman, and Joseph Bomba might be the best combination in the entire state. Up next is a tough Southport team and Bloomington South will look to continue their dominate streak.
Franciscan Health Classic
Tonight saw two excellent matchups in this mini tournament with the first being Lafayette Jeff versus Harrison and McCutcheon taking on West Lafayette. The first game saw Lafayette Jeff beating Harrison 54-48 and the second game saw McCutcheon beating West Lafayette 55-52. With that, the championship is set and will be played tomorrow with Jeff versus McCutcheon. Both of these teams have a really good roster and it will exciting to see the matchups, especially with the Barnhizer brothers, Braxton and Brooks, go up against the duo of Joesph Phinisee and Robert Ferrell.
