RONALD AYERS | FLINT HILL
Ayers has stepped nicely into a bigger role for the 3-1 Huskies, who are currently ranked 22nd in our . The southpaw guard has proven to be a reliable shooter from long range. Ayers recently dropped a game-high 16 points in a win at Georgetown Prep.
JARED CLAWSON | EDISON
Clawson and the Eagles are off to a flying start with a 4-0 record thus far this season. He is averaging over 19 points per game thus far this season but is also showing he can make guys around him better as well. Edison had four players hit double-figure scoring numbers in their most recent win over Chantilly.
MARCEL GABRIEL | THEODORE ROOSEVELT
Gabriel is the heart and soul of the 5-0 Rough Riders. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, he is a forceful paint presence who sets bone-jarring screens, is relentless on the boards, and can finish in traffic. Gabriel made a significant impact in his team’s signature win over Wilson earlier this week.
ROMAN HINDS | GILMAN
The Greyhounds are off to a 4-2 start and Hinds has been a standout performer. The 6-foot-9 post prospect has asserted himself on the boards and is making an impact on the defensive end.
DELONNIE HUNT | ROCK CREEK CHRISTIAN
Hunt has helped propel Rock Creek to an impressive 5-0 start. He has been a standout performer in each game, scoring when his team needs it, competing defensively, and keeping his teammates involved. Check out this recent article discussing his mindset during his senior season.
CHRIS KOUEMI | GAITHERSBURG
Kouemi was a man among boys in Gaithersburg’s win over Magruder this week. The 6-foot-4 195-pound forward was a terror on the boards and showed that he can switch onto smaller opponents. Offensively, Kouemi is showing that he is capable of scoring inside and out.
CORETEZ LEWIS | JOHN PAUL THE GREAT
Through 5 games for the 3-2 Wolfpack, Lewis is averaging 27 points per game. He had a great summer with Team NoVA and has carried the momentum he built over the summer with him into this season.
MARK LLEWELLYN | GEORGETOWN PREP
Llewellyn has been a consistent standout performer for the 2-2 Hoyas so far this season. The 6-foot-3 guard is a good shooter with a good feel for the game. Before this season, Llewellyn was not on our radar at all, but things have changed quickly as a result of his strong start to the season.
IKE SALISU | BOWIE
Salisu was dominant for the Bulldogs at the DMVelite NoVA Tip-Off last weekend and has been an integral factor in his team’s 2-0 start. He is great around the basket on both ends of the court and is the defensive anchor.
TERRANCE WILLIAMS | GONZAGA
Williams, who recently reopened his recruitment after committing to Georgetown, is averaging over 20 points per game to go along with 11 boards per game for the 4-2 Eagles. This comes to little surprise as he’s been a walking double-double for 3 years now.
