Senior point guard Jack Kenney and junior guard Andrew Iaquaniello are ready to have solid seasons. That being said, the sophomore class at Divine Child may hold the keys to the future success of the program. They have 3 players from the class of 2022 that look to be major contributors, and even starters, this season. All 3 have the potential to put up 20 plus points on any given night this season.
Let’s take a look at each of these talented sophomores:
Troy Cicotte (6’2″, Guard, Divine Child High School)
Cicotte is a long guard and knows how to take advantage of that length. He has exceptional ball handling ability which allows him to be very versatile on the perimeter. He’s an intelligent player, especially considering that he’s an underclassmen. Cicotte is a natural shooter with range extending beyond the 3 point line.
Lorenzo Vitti (6’1″, Wing, Divine Child High School)
Vitti may remind you of former University of Michigan star Jimmy King. He’s smooth and fast getting up the court. Vitti puts the ball on the floor and goes with no hesitation, which gets him in the lane where he creates for his teammates. He has to be accounted for at all times due to his consistent jumper. Vitti is an energy player on the defensive end.
Gannon Blair (6’2 Forward, Divine Child High School)
Blair is a forward with a very high ceiling. He’s a well rounded player that focuses on improving all aspects of his game. Blair realizes that the more things he does well, the less he can leave the court. He’s a high IQ player that has good court vision. Blair is getting stronger and more physical which will greatly help his development as an athlete.
