Aaron McQueen (Lane Tech – 2021)
McQueen is a junk yard dog four man that plays physical on the glass on both ends of the floor recording 7 boards including three on the offensive end.
Troy D’Amico (Niles Notre Dame – 2021)
D’Amico is a wing that rebounds at a high level. He has the ability to take it off the glass and push the other way. Snatched 8 defensive rebounds against Evanston.
Bryce Hopkins (Fenwick – 2021)
This Louisville commit was a beast as always on the glass against OPRF. The forward mauled on both the offensive and defensive glass for 10 rebounds.
Justin Cross (OPRF – 2021)
Cross is a long and rangy power forward that was assertive on the glass especially in the second half trying to get his team back in the game. Love his quickness to the offensive glass. He had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Darnell King (Kenwood – 2020)
King opened eyes with his play on Saturday afternoon. One of his strengths was his ability to board. The rangy four man came off the bench to grab 9 rebounds many he high pointed over a group of opponents.
Romelle Howard (Lincoln Park – 2020)
Howard is such a physical post player with a great build and when he is locked in he is one of the best rebounders in the class. The unsigned senior mauled on both ends for the floor for 10 rebounds.
Christian Shumate (Bloom – 2020)
Elite level athlete that plays above the rim. He flies in for rebounds and often gets tip dunks that have the crowd going crazy! One of the better offensive rebounders in the state. He had 6 rebounds.
Jeremiah Williams (Simeon – 2020)
Williams is a tough wing that has a versatile game. For a team that struggled on the boards he was the one consistent player crashing the glass from his wing spot for 10 boards.
Grant Newell (Whitney Young – 2021)
Newell is the top power forward in the state’s junior class. He is starting to really assert himself rebounding. The 2021 four man was very good using his quickness and feel getting on the offensive glass for second chance opportunities. He had 9 rebounds.
Anes Davenport (Morgan Park – 2021)
Davenport is one of the unsung rebounders in the junior class. He showcased that against a quality CBC squad at CEC. His offensive rebounding was outstanding recording 7 offensive rebounds as part of his 9 overall. Plays with an aggressiveness that every time the ball is in the air it is his!
Brandon Weston (Morgan Park – 2021)
Weston rebounded outstanding from his wing spot. Was particularly effective clearing the glass on the defensive end and leading the break the other way. He had 10 rebounds!
