Scotland County Unsigned Senior Guard Garrett Mcrae: We have been putting the word out about him for some time now so it’s interesting to see things falling into place for him. He went for 34 points in their win last night, he has a quick first step and good upper body strength to finish through contact.
In their rematch with Greene Central Senior Guard Samage Teel stepped up and put up big time numbers. 25 points, 10 Assist and 8 Rebounds were his final stat line, he’s picked up some interest from various D2 programs.
RJ Reynolds Junior Guard Tyriek Leach had a big night with 23 Points to help lead his team to a win. We got our first opportunity to see him at the Triad First 48 event and left very impressed with his overall performance! He has not only the ability to score it but also to find teammates.
Purnell Swett Senior Xavier Jones is back without a doubt ! He has put together back to back 30+ point games with double figure rebounding as well. His ability to rebound the ball at a high level is something that we have seen from him consistently and one of the reasons that college coaches should be dropping in.
Terry Sanford HS Sophomore Wing Davis Molnar messed around and got a triple double with a final stat line of: 12 points, 10 rebounds and 14 Assists. Terry Sanford is off to a nice start this year and Molnar is one of the reasons why.
Pinecrest HS Junior Guard Bradlee Haskell led his team in scoring with 19 points although they would eventually come up short. Haskell is a player that college programs at the D1 level are beginning to track and rightfully so. He does a great job of always keeping his head up and making the correct play whether it’s him scoring or finding teammates with an assist.
