This Saturday, four of the best teams in the states of Oregon and Washington will battle it out in two high-intensity games in the Border Battle presented by Pure Focus Sports. The games will take place on the main court at the Moda Center in Portland as the season kicks off with a bang for these four teams.

In the first game played at 4:30 pm, Washington 4A favorite Mt. Si will take on Oregon’s 5A favorite in Churchill. Mt. Si’s lineup features a Division I backcourt of Jace Mullins, who signed with St. Mary’s, and Tyler Patterson, who inked with Montana State. Churchill has no shortage of future college talent either as swingman Kaelan O’Neil signed with Eastern Washington, Brian Goracke – PrepHoops Oregon’s #1 ranked senior – inked with Point Loma Nazarene, and Silas Bennion signed with Lewis-Clark State.

In the second game played at 6:15 pm, Battle Ground out of Vancouver, Washington will take on Crater out of Central Point, Oregon. This contest promises to be a battle of two of the premier big men in the entire country from the Class of 2021. Battle Ground features Gonzaga commitment Kaden Perry while Crater boasts Nate Bittle, who holds offers from schools in high-major conferences across the country. Both teams are bolstered by strong supporting casts.
