There were some big time shot makers on display burning up the nets throughout the night. Here is a list of those who had the top shooting performance on the evening:
- 6’5 Jr Aminu Mohammed | Greenwood
- His three point shooting has improved tremendously from last year and he is a legit threat to get hot and fill it up from long distance. Loves to pull up off the dribble, creating space with the step back or side step footwork.
- 6’1 So Tommy Pinegar | Greenwood
- Mr. Big Shot for the Blue Jays has one of the quickest releases in the state and deep range. He has knocked down some big ones in his young career and beat the buzzer, not once, but twice in the big win over Kickapoo
- 6’2 Sr Quenton Shelton | Lebanon
- One of the elite shooters in the entire state, Quenton is an absolute sniper from all over the floor. He shot it very well yesterday setting his feet well running off screens and pulling up off the dribble to connect on some tough shots. Coaches are taking notice, he picked up an offer from Evangel yesterday.
- 6’3 Sr Josh Mason | Nixa
- He caught fire against Willard and torched them to the tune of a game high 21 points, including that included five big shots from beyond the arc.
- 5’11 Jr Drew McMillin | Republic
- He’s a household name in southwest Missouri when it comes to being a sharpshooter. He shot it very well throughout the tournament and buried a couple dagger threes against Ozark.
- 5’10 Fr Ahlante Askew | Republic
- This is a frosh to keep an eye on. Ahlante came off the bench and provided a huge spark for the Tigers. He scored 10 points, including a pair of critical three-pointers in the win.
- 6’2 Jr Anton Brookshire | Kickapoo
- He has NBA range and the ability to get off a quality look in every way imaginable. His shot making ability makes him a very coveted prospect for D1 coaches. He scored 22 in the game including four deep three pointers.
- 6’2 Jr Cameron Liggins | Kickapoo
- More known for his supreme athleticism as a slasher and rebounder, Liggins had a big time performance against Greenwood that included a couple big time contested three pointers.
