2021 Kino Lilly Is A Bucket
I talked about how I thought 2021 Kino Lilly could have a major uptick in his recruitment this winter and he showed on Saturday why I thought that. The shot making guard made shot after shot for Landon finishing with 18 points. He also displayed some good vision and passing skills that I did not know he had.
Jalen Miller Is Not Talked About Enough
Miller might not be one of the most talked about prospects in the DMV but he showed why he is one of the best. He finished with a total of 13 points while showing he can go coast to coast with the ball but also distribute the ball well, especially when he is highly pressured as he dished out 5 assists.
Bishop Walsh Size Disrupts Landon
We knew going into the game that Bishop Walsh would have a major advantage down low due to the size they have and the lack of size that Landon simply doesn’t have. This ended up being a pivotal aspect of the game for Bishop Walsh as they out rebounded Landon 42-20.
Productivity From Dwayne Koroma
Whether it is crashing the boards, getting second chance points or catching alley oops, productivity is the name of the game for the German native. It seems like every time I would look up it was Koroma doing something either on offense or defense. He finished with a total of 16 points and 10 rebounds while taking home MVP honors.
Big 2nd Half From Dimingus Stevens Carries Bishop Walsh
It was only a matter of time until the Seton Hall commit got it going for Bishop Walsh after being held scoreless in the 1st half. His shot making ability and ability to finish in transition pushed the lead to 17 at one point for Bishop Walsh making it the biggest of the day for the Spartans which ultimately prevailed to be the icing on the cake for Bishop Walsh in the win. He finished with 16 points which all came in the 2nd half.
