Too Much Favour Aire
Favour showed why he is going to be one of the highest rated recruits in the entire 2022 class. The 6’10 sophomore finished with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks. Nobody on Ireton was able to stop him and even when they tried, he would dunk on top of them or get fouled and go to the free throw line. His long arms allow him to be an exceptional rebounder has he can really stretch out to rebound the ball that might not be in his area. I was also impressed with his motor as he was engaged throughout the entire game.
Dont Sleep On McNamara
Once the Mustangs get David Brown III back, that should help back up my statement but i still believe McNamara can possibly make things a little interesting in the WCAC. They are a team with good pieces and should continue to get better as the season goes on. They will have their shot many more times this year to give the best from the WCAC a run for their money.
TJ Kindle Brought Energy
He might have not had the biggest scoring night but the hustle and energy Kindle played with is definitely worth noting. He was the only player on Ireton not scared to go up against the size on McNamara and would try and grab rebounds against bigger defenders. He was diving on the floor for loose balls and had two steals. If more of Ireton would have played with this type of energy, the score possibly could have been a little closer.
