Rock Canyon
Rock Canyon this year is looking to be one of the top teams in the Highlands Ranch area. They have the height and shooting to keep up with anyone in the state. Down low they have the big man Tommy Rau standing at 6’11 is averaging 7.4 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Then they have their main scorer in Jalen Ashley who is averaging 15.5 points per game. They also have other solid contributors around these two in Quint Geck, Nick Fallin, Jake Hasset, and Chris Schlesinger.
Arapahoe
Arapahoe has had a good start to the season going 6-1 in the first three weeks. Arapahoe has an underrated back court in Korey Hess and Bryson Stephens. Korey is averaging 18.7 points per game and Bryson is averaging 17.7 points per game. They also have a solid sophomore big man down low, Derik Pranger, who is averaging 7 points per game this year. It will interesting to see once league play starts how well they will play against the best league in the state.
Chaparral
Chaparral has had one of the toughest schedules in the state which is the reason for the 4-4 record. This team has a great back court duo in Kobe Sanders and Jeremiah Coleman. The senior Kobe is leading the team with 17 points per game and the upcoming sophomore Jeremiah is averaging 11.8 points per game. They also have other very good contributors in Aaron Jacob, Joel Speckman, Keaton Crockett, and Dalton Waldron.
