Ryan Corner (2020, 6’10”, PF, Allendale)
Corner has really impressed me over the last 3 years. He’s a solid rebounder, especially defensively. Corner has developed a taste for contact under the rim. He can keep the defense honest by stepping away from the bucket and hitting a mid range jumper. Corner can even step out behind the arc if the defense gives him a look.
Jamoni Jones (2020, 6’1″, PG, East Kentwood)
In a class full of top notch point guards, Jones is right up there with the best of them. He’s an aggressive player with a scorer’s mentality. Jones could be prototyped as a scoring lead guard, but that may not do him justice. He’s a solid passer that creates for his team off the dribble. Jones is a good ball handler that dribbles like he’s angry at the ball.
Sir’Real Smith (2020, 6’1″, CG, Saginaw)
Smith has always been an electric player. He’s that shot of energy that a team needs every so often. Smith is a threat to score from basically anywhere on the floor. He has good start-stop speed and has some wiggle in his game. Smith is developing as a true combo guard as well.
Jacob Tomsich (2020, 6’0″, CG, Midland Dow)
Tomsich is one of the best pure shooters in Michigan. His range extends to the car in the gym parking lot. Tomsich has done a terrific job developing a nice mid range game. This fall he showed off a free throw line floater that could be a big weapon.
Martell Turner (2020, 6’1″, PG, Roseville)
Turner is a high IQ floor general. He plays a disciplined and smart game, rarely turning the ball over and recognizing what his team needs from him. Turner is underrated as an athlete. He controls the pace of the game and can play at any speed.
