John Shanu 6’9 C | Sam Houston HS PHTX200
John continues to turn heads throughout this High School season. He rim runs and he gets the ball out in transition from the rebound quickly. He is averaging 8.1 points per game, bringing in 6.6 rebounds per game, and 1.5 blocks per game on the season. He is the best-unsigned big in the Greater Houston area right now. He played for Basketball University on the Adidas Gauntlet Gold last year. He has several JuCo’s interested in him.
Jayshon Cannon 6’8 C | Aldine Davis HS
Jayshon has been really solid on the year. Plays well with his back to the basket. He runs the floor well and is always ready to catch the lob. His hands have improved greatly from the Spring of 2019 until now. He keeps the ball up high and is a big-time shot blocker. He currently holds an offer from an NAIA program Bethel College out of Kansas. He has other NAIA schools interested and some JuCo’s as well. He played with Texas Takeover Elite on the Prep Hoops Circuit.
EJ Jones 6’8 C | The Woodlands Christian Academy
EJ has shredded a lot of weight and is moving a lot better on the court. If he continues to lose weight he will boost his stock big time. Can finish with both hands around the rim. He sets solid screens and has a big frame that allows him to move players around easily. His school is 14-5 overall on the season and will be a tough team to beat come playoff time. He currently doesn’t hold an offer but schools are starting to pay attention to him and asking about him more and more.
Tim Moore Jr. 6’6 PF | Houston Madison HS PHTX200 as seen in the picture
Tim is having a solid season for the Marlins. He is averaging 24.3 points per game, 14.7 rebounds per game, and 5 blocks per game. He is the top shot-blocker in the Greater Houston area and in the State of Texas. He is solid on the low block. He runs the floor extremely well. His outside shot has been falling as well but his strong suit is with his back to the basket. Better on the low post than the high post. He has tremendous leaping ability that keeps his opponents second-guessing when driving the lane. He has 1 NAIA offer from Louisiana State University at Alexandria. Holds 5 offers on the JuCo level from Odessa College in Texas, Jackson College in Mississippi, Barton College in North Carolina, Coffeyville College in Kansas, and Coahoma College in Mississippi. He played with Cooz Elite on the UA Rise Circuit.
Alejandro Davila 6’8 C | Fort Bend Christian Academy
Alejandro has greatly improved his game. He looks a lot more comfortable playing as if he is finally comfortable in his body. He is averaging 6.8 points per game, 7.1 rebounds per game, and 1.9 blocks per game on the season. Dro has to add some weight and muscle to his frame that will push his game a little further and allow him to be much more dominate down low. His hands are better his motor is better his defensive awareness is way better. He currently doesn’t hold any offers on the table but has interest from a couple of JuCo and NAIA schools interested in him. He played with the Houston Raptors on the Prep Hoops Circuit.
