The Weston Ranch Scrimmage included some of the top prospects from the class of 2022 in NorCal. These young prospects are still developing their skills, but some are ready to step up and make solid contributions to the success of their teams this season. This class brings good size and length.

Myles Bird 6'6 2022, Lincoln HS (Stockton CA).

Byrd is a long armed wiry prospect still growing. His skills are improving. He looks to establish his drives to the rim by hitting 3's early in the contest. This opens some space for him to use his dribble drive to the basket. In transition he's a big target out on the wings and can usually finish the play on a pull up jumper in the key or layup. He uses his length to shoot over smaller defenders. Byrds long wingspan takes up a lot of space in the passing lanes which creates deflections and turnovers for his team. He can be a solid defender.

Franlys Arias 6'6 2022, Brookside Christian. (Stockton CA)

Like many of the prospects in this class, Arias will need to add muscle to his frame, but as for as production on the courts, he displayed good
