The West Coast Elite showcase came to Colorado this past weekend and brought out some of our top names as well as new players to take a look at. It was put together in a different way with the younger guys mending in and sharing the court with some of our top players but was still a bit entertaining. Here are the young players that stood out.  

Sam Chavez —Cherry Creek

Chavez is a player from the 2023 class that truly stood out as he played with complete control despite being one of the younger players at the event. He has a high IQ and knows where to be as well as where to find his teammates. He filled lanes correctly, got out and ran and also was able to knock down multiple shots. He is a player to watch for moving forward.

Jayson Lewis—Smoky Hill

That younger Smoky Hill class is going to be pretty good as they have so many players that can score. Lewis is a guard that plays with extreme confidence offensively and has plenty in his bag. He started one of the games out with a step-back jumper and was able to
