Taeshaud Jackson- Dakota Ridge, 6’5 G/F 2021
Taeshaud is a player that has a combination of strength, size, speed, and athleticism that only a select few players in the state can match, which makes him truly electrifying. On the defensive side of the ball he is super aggressive and forces fast breaks. Those fast breaks usually end in dunks with or without someone in the way. Taeshaud, over the high school off season, has proved to be one of the top players in his class.
Anthony Harris- Smoky Hill, 6’4 G/F 2022
Whenever Anthony steps on the court all eyes are on him. If you have seen him play, you know what I am talking about. He seems to float in the air when going up for dunks or blocks, and can score with a good outside shot. Anthony is one of my favorite players to watch and someone to look out for his sophomore year.
Jarmell Johnson- George Washington, 6’5 SG 2021
Jarmell is another great athlete hailing from George Washington. He has good speed and is almost always one of the fasts guys on the court. Also, he has one of the best dunk packages in the state, when he gets to the rim, watch out! After this summer, he and his George Washington teammates have improved a lot and are definitely going to be a fun team to watch.
Deangelo Horn- Smoky Hill, 6’5 G/F 2021
Deangelo is the definition of a dog on the court. He plays with tenacity and takes match-ups personally. If you’re playing against Deangelo, watch your back because he could be flying in to dunk on you. Deangelo is one of the best athletes on maybe the most athletic teams in the state so watch out.
Jonathan Potts- Smoky Hill, 6’3 G/F 2022
Sadly, this weekend Jonathan got his season cut short by an injury. Before he got injured he was having an impressive weekend. He has good speed and strength for his size which allows him to attack the bucket. He also has a good jumper from mid range and three which he can hit off the dribble. When he comes back, watch out for him to make an impact on the court.
