Jarmell Johnson- SG 6’5, George Washington
With one of the best off seasons out of anyone in his class, Jarmell is looking to have a big junior season. Over the summer and fall he showed off how he can impact the game with his athleticism by causing havoc on defense and starting fast breaks. He is quick and bouncy which is a good combo for someone who will be looking to run the fast break a lot.
Deangelo Horn- G/F 6’5, Smoky Hill
Deangelo is another guy who had a big off season, he joined a very talented Billups Elite team on the Adidas Gauntlet and made a good impact on the team. One video you may have seen was him posterizing a defender, he will most likely be doing more of that this season with Smoky Hill.
Terrence Ferguson- F 6’4, Heritage
Terrence is one of the best football players in the state picking up offers from schools like LSU, Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State, and much more. He has no trouble translating his athleticism onto the basketball court. Terrence has a good back to the basket game and a good mid range jumper. Also, he has exhilarating hops which allow him to get rebounds and dunks.
Edward Speller- F 6’4, Lewis-Palmer
Edward did not see much time on the 4A championship winning team, but should see a huge step up in playing time this season with him being one of three returning varsity players. When he did get in the games, he played very well. He had some put-back dunks and showed a good game off the dribble.
Griffin Lauritano- G/F 6’5, Evergreen
Griffin is a really good football player but he may be just as good at basketball. He has good height at the wing and can play down low as well if he has a smaller defender on him. One thing that impressed me about his game is the ability to face up and take people off of the dribble.
