Seth Chargois 2020 Union Wing
Chargois was impactful getting to the basket and finding ways to finish. He also showed off a nice jumper. Chargois is going to be looked upon as a leader of this Union group and by all accounts from Saturday, he is ready.
Kevin Overton 2022 Midwest City Point Guard
Overton did a good job of getting to the basket and finishing. The length of Overton allows him to be able to finish in multiple ways with ease. Overton could be a candidate to break out this season.
JV Seat 2022 Edmond Memorial Forward
Seat is a monster in the paint as a guy who is very versatile. There are not many teams that can have a guy matchup with Seat very well. Seat was able to get to the basket and finish strong extremely well on Saturday.
Makale Smith 2021 Midwest City Guard
Smith has a field day driving to the hoop drawing contact and finishing through traffic. It was And One city for Smith all day long. This could be a breakout season for Smith who has consistently been a Guard Midwest City can count on over the years.
Sam Godwin 2020 Southmoore Forward
Wofford might have signed the biggest steal in America in Sam Godwin. He scores the ball with great touch around the rim. Godwin is taking the next step with Southmoore this season to be a dominant big. Lookout Class 6A.
Davon Richardson 2020 Sand Springs Wing
Richardson was a bully with the basketball putting defenders in the basket. He is extremely tough to stop around the basket due to his strength. Shooting is what he has always been able to do to give teams trouble. Now it’s double trouble with his ability to score in multiple ways consistently.
Dalante Shannon 2021 Edmond North Guard
Shannon showed up and showed out during each scrimmage I watched him play. He was making plays off the dribble attacking the basket downhill. The finishing package Shannon has allows him to finish in heavy traffic. Shannon also showed off his improved jumper.
Bryce Thompson 2020 Booker T. Washington Guard
What really stood out to me is the beating Thompson took every time down the court. On Saturday Thompson stayed poised and used his length and frame to finish in tough traffic at all times.
DanQuez Dawsey Lawton mac 2021 Point Guard
Dawsey had his way with defenses on Saturday using a quick first step going right to get the opposing player behind him. Once Dawsey had the defender on his hip he went to work. When attacking the basket Dawsey uses either a smooth pull up jumper, floated in the lane, or a tough finish around the basket. If you are at an NCAA D2 this is a young man you want to start recruiting.
Bijan Cortes Kingfisher 2021 Point Guard
Cortes was a beast all day long at getting to the rack and finishing strong. When the ball is in Cortes hands defenders have such a difficult time staying in front of him not just due to speed as you have to factor in his impressive handle too. Not to mention the variety of ways Cortes scores around the rim makes him so tough to stop.
Jackson Skipper 2021 Sapulpa Forward
Skipper is starting to look more like a long Wing with the way he is moving and his body. Long term I see him still as a versatile four-man. Skipper showed the ability to shoot the rock as well as bash home some impressive jams.
