We move over to athletes. Which seniors will have a big impact athletically to affect games this seasons in the AIA?
Here are my Top-5:
1. Chance Garland (McClintock)–Measured over a 40 inch vertical does things kids dream of! Will be all over the place this year as a point forward.
Don’t try this at home. 6’5 2020 Wing @chance_garland feeling bouncy after our workout. pic.twitter.com/IUcBweywG7

2. Sunday John (Willow Canyon)–The lefty seems to glide in the air with grace. Does a little bit of everything for his team.

3. Jerry Iliya (Paradise Honors)–A powerful dunker on the break and rebounds at a high level.

4. Terrence Green (Carl Hayden)–The high flyer changes many scouting reports with his all round disruptive play.
5. Juhlawnei Stone (Dobson)–Not many get higher for reboounds and dunks. He explodes up with force.
My next-5:
1. David Teibo (Ironwood)--He will be one of the best with the lob dunks this year and rebound out of his area.
2. Tanner Poeschl (Skyline)–The long dunker seems to take off from anywhere and dunk the ball. Arguably the best at closing out to shooters in the state.
3. Jorden Josephs (Chaparral)–True athlete rebounds at a high level. Many double doubles coming for Joseph.
4. Davon Cobbs (Shadow Mountain)–Watch out on the break with this athlete. Glue guy will be huge for the Matadors.
5. Shemar Morrow (Shadow Mountain)–High motor athlete rebounds everything near him and will defend all 5 positions.
5 way under the radar:
1. Byron Brown (Sahuarita)— A stud from Tucson seemingly does it all for his team. Plays point center and is a star on the break. (Pictured)
2. Trey Donaldson (Gilbert Christian)–Shockingly athletic on the break can fly up for dunks.
3. Jon Holiday (Goldwater)–You won’t find many faster end to end then Holiday. Not well known, but he uses his speed on the break and on the ball defensively.
4. Curtis Nichols (Valley Vista)— Long athlete gets up high above the crowd for rebounds and dunks.
5. Nigel Wilson (Catalina Foothills)–The biggest player on the list hasn’t played much varsity ball yet but looks to have an impact on the glass and above the rim off the bench this season.
