Anthony Allen – Independence – Guard
Allen currently holds offers from Rider, Lees-McRae, Mount Olive and Mars Hill. He’s a player that continues to develop as an outside shooter and floor general in the meantime. At 6-foot, he’s an explosive guard that can play at a high level on both ends and is deserving of more offers at the D1 level.
Chase Forte – Word of God – Point Guard
Forte recently received his first offer from St. Augustine’s University. He’s another explosive guard prospect that can finish at the rim and plays unselfish at the point guard position. He’s developing his shot but can get to the rim when needed to make things happen.
Isaac Parson – Kinston – Guard
Parson will be a big reason for Kinston High School’s success in 2019-20. He’s improved his body a ton in the weight room and can score on all three levels with ease. On defense, he creates havoc with his on-ball pressure and underrated strength.
Khalid Hinds – Ben L. Smith – Point Guard
Hinds is a catalyst for Ben L. Smith’s success this season. He sets the tone with his ability to create turnovers on defense and knock down shots from 3-point range. He can also get to the rim when needed as well.
Qualeem Poindexter – Piedmont Classical – Shooting Guard
Poindexter is a sharpshooter in the Piedmont Classical rotation that’s found his stroke early on the young 2019-20 season. He went off for 24 points on four made 3-pointers in their season-opener against Henderson Collegiate. He does well moving without the ball to find open shots in space and is quite the cutter without the ball in his hands.
Jake Ledbetter – Bishop McGuinness – Shooting Guard
Ledbetter has gotten some early attention from Bridgewater College, who have been in to see him at open gym. He can score with range from the 3-point arc and is a smooth operator off the bounce.
Jimmy Forte – Community Christian – Point Guard
Forte is due for a strong senior campaign after producing 31.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 3.1 steals per game for Community Christian as a junior. He’s a 6-foot-3 guard that fills up the stat sheet every night for his squad.
Zach Murphy – Crossroads Christian – Guard/Wing
Murphy is a combo guard that can fill it up from deep and make plays with the ball in his hands. He’s got nice size at 6-foot-5 which allows him to create for himself in a variety of ways on the perimeter and on the inside.
