Sibley commits to Georgetown
Former Nicolet star Jamari Sibley has committed to Georgetown, he and sources told Prep Hoops Wisconsin.
Sibley chose the Hoyas over his other finalists Iowa and Minnesota. The consensus four-star forward also held offers from Syracuse, Maryland, South Carolina, Wake Forest, Iowa State, Florida, Clemson, LSU, Marquette, Georgia Tech, USC, Illinois, Arizona State, Kansas State, and more.
Sibley took his official visit to Georgetown the weekend of Oct. 4.
As a junior, Sibley helped lead Nicolet to the 2018-19 Division 2 state championship, averaging 19.1 points per game last season. Sibley transferred to Oak Hill Academy (VA) for his senior season.
According to Prep Hoops, Sibley is the nation’s No. 110 ranked player in the 2020 class. He joins Dante Harris and Terrance Williams as part of Georgetown’s 2020 recruiting class.
