Here is 3A:
Paradise Honors–A star studded roster led by Jerry Iliya and Jalen Scott but lost last year to Valley Christian with the lack of shooting. Bring in junior Wyatt Bell, who missed most of the season and the all important loss to VC. If he can play well vs the top tier teams in 3A, Bell may be the secret to the Panthers success.
Valley Christian–Led by POY from last year Logan Phillips will do it all again but to win it all, the team will need Desert Vista senior transfer Jackson Risi to be the true Robin to his Batman.
ALA-QC–One of the biggest front lines in all of AZ led by Lighthall and Brooke but their success may hinge on the play from the brothers of junior Matthew and senior Tyler Holmes. If these two can take pressure off the bigs, we may see the Patriots in the finals.
Sabino–Cesar Saenz will be the man down south but if senior forward Pablo Guterriez can step up his game and be a dynamic duo with Saenz, the Sabercats can make a deep run.
Gilbert Christian–Trey Donaldson should be one of the best guards in 3A but if soph guard Kaden Earl can be a nice compliment to Donaldson to take pressure off of him would be a huge boost.
Chinle–Senior guard Cooper Burbank has become almost famous with his TV show (averaged 20 ppg last year) but if junior PG Curtis Begay can improve his scoring average this year, the Wildcats will be in the thick of it at the end of the year.
