Zion Dixon – Guard
Dixon is looking like the heart and soul of his Glenn High School Bobcats squad. He can score it from the perimeter and has the ability to finish at the rim as well. He’s a sophomore to keep an eye on this season.
Julius Reese Jr. – Wing/Forward
Reese is another sophomore prospect in the Glenn rotation with the ability to play the perimeter and in the paint. He can make things happen when the ball is in his hands and uses his 6-foot-3 size well to score in traffic.
Jeremiah Scales – Guard/Wing
The Bobcats will be a young squad in 2019-20 and one of their leaders this season will be sophomore Jeremiah Scales. He’s a big, versatile prospect at 6-foot-3 that can also score it from the perimeter.
Micah Gainey – Guard
Gainey is the one and only senior prospect in the rotation for Glenn High School. He’s got the ability to get out on the break and get open and can handle the ball in the halfcourt.
Sterling Vaughn – Guard/Wing
Vaughn is only a freshman as the 2019-20 season approaches but it hasn’t slowed down his ability to be aggressive and score with the ball in his hands. His development should be fun to watch across the next four seasons.
Key Dates
11/23 – Wesleyan Christian Academy
The Bobcats will have their hands full when they face senior forward Kaleb Brooks and the Wesleyan Christian Trojans on Nov. 23 in the Phenom Hoops Gate City Classic.
11.30 – Dudley
Glenn will have their young hands full against an experienced rotation of Dudley Panthers’ led by Jeremiah Dickerson. It should be another early challenge for the Bobcats.
12/6 – @ East Chapel Hill
In their final road game of the nonconference schedule, the Bobcats will travel to Chapel Hill to face the East Chapel Hill Wildcats.
