Starters
Will Gray – Guard
Gray is only a freshman but he’ll be one of the key contributors to the Furies rotation this season. He can score on all three levels on offense and makes things happen on the defensive end as well. He’ll be one to track for the next few seasons.
Chance Carter – Guard
Carter is a scrappy junior guard that can create off the dribble and shoot it from the wing. He’s a guy that teams don’t want to let get going in open space or it’ll be a long game for them.
Jay Mitchell – Wing
Mitchell is an emerging junior that is electric from the wing. He can play above the rim and looks to make highlight plays on both ends with his athleticism. He’ll be another junior prospect to keep an eye on at Forsyth Country Day.
Jebril Crawford – Wing/Forward
Crawford is another young prospect that hustles and brings energy on both ends with his style of play. He plays to the whistle on every play and doesn’t hesitate when it comes to leaving it all on the floor.
Kevin Dunn – Forward
Dunn is a senior post player that plays hard and defends with toughness. He plays with a “Never back down” spirit and is a solid frontcourt player in the rotation.
Reserves
Sterling Charles – Guard
Charles is an offensive spark off the bench with his ability to knock down 3-pointers. He showed off his shooting stroke at the HoopCities Jamboree and is due to show it off even more in the 2019-20 season.
Draven Pilson – Forward/Wing
Pilson is another freshman player in the Furies rotation that should contribute with his ability to rebound and stretch the floor with his outside shot. He’s a development in progress at 6-foot-4 in the rotation.
Key Dates
12/3 – Greensboro Day
Things can’t get any challenging for Forsyth Country Day when they host Greensboro Day and their nationally-ranked squad on Dec. 3 to open conference play. It will be interesting to see how they perform in the contest.
12/6 – @ GRACE Christian
The Furies travel to Raleigh a few days after their game against the Bengals to face the GRACE Christian Eagles on Dec. 6. It’ll be another challenging game for their young squad.
12/10 – @ Calvary Day School
Another tough game on the road comes against the Calvary Day School Cougars on Dec. 10. The Furies have a fun series of challenges coming in their schedule this season and this is yet another one of those.
