Potential Starters
Nick Farrar – Forward
Farrar is a senior leader for the Patriots this season that’s headed to NC State at the next level. He’ll be one of the main reasons for them to be a favorite to win the SWAC this season. He’s a double-double machine due for a strong senior campaign.
Kenny Noland – Guard/Wing
Noland is a smart defender that can tip passes to teammates then get out on the fastbreak and create. He’s one of the juniors on this year’s squad but he’ll be looked upon to contribute as a shooter and defender a ton this season.
Jayden Beloti – Guard/Wing
Beloti had a strong junior campaign and is another player in this rotation due for a strong senior season. He’s a solid shooter on the perimeter but even more lethal when he’s driving to the paint and making things happen at the rim. He’ll be one to watch on this squad.
Jeremiah Baker – Point Guard
Baker is an underrated point guard prospect at 5-foot-10 that is just scratching the surface with his game. He stood out this past weekend with his ability to play above the rim and knock down the 3-ball and as he gains confidence in those two areas, he’s going to be a fun senior player to track.
Jackson Spencer – Guard
Spencer is one of the toughest players in the Patriots’ rotation and isn’t afraid to turn up the pressure or set the tone with some early made 3-pointers. He isn’t the biggest guard on the floor but he’ll make up for it in a hurry with his scrappy play.
Reserves
Cole Ganim – Wing/Forward
Ganim is a versatile prospect for his size at 6-foot-1 that can play inside and out with his abilities. He isn’t afraid to fight in the paint for rebounds and also has a nice touch on his shot from the perimeter. He’ll be one junior prospect to watch.
Luke Proctor – Guard
Proctor is a lethal weapon from the outside and is also developing as quite the playmaker at the point guard position as a junior. He’s beginning to see the floor and create for others just as well as for himself which should create more playing time for him.
Trey Barker – Wing/Forward
Barker is another versatile player for the Patriots and has the ability to play in the paint and on the perimeter. He’s got the potential to be a solid contributor off the bench with his ability to get going right away when the ball is in his hands. He’ll be another junior prospect to keep an eye on.
Shi Crespin – Forward
Crespin is a junior forward prospect with size at 6-foot-6 to keep an eye on. He can defend multiple positions on the floor and plays hard on both ends. As he finds his role in this rotation, he’ll be one to keep eyes on in the frontcourt.
Key Date
Dec. 26-28: John Wall Holiday Invitational
The Patriots will be one of the local teams headling this year’s John Wall Holiday Invitational Tournament and should be fun to watch no matter who they’re matched up against.
